Before founding SET LIFE Consulting, Nico spent six years playing professional hockey. The game taught him lessons that still shape how he works every day: show up prepared, do the hard work nobody sees, and never forget that you win as a team.

Off the ice, Nico is a family man with two young kids and a third on the way. Becoming a father made one thing crystal clear: the most important job any of us has is making sure the people we love are taken care of, no matter what happens. That's the conviction behind SET LIFE Consulting.

Why independent?

Nico chose to build an independent brokerage so he could put clients first. Instead of selling one company's products, he works with multiple carriers, including Mutual of Omaha, Foresters Financial, Ethos, American Home Life, Transamerica, Corebridge Financial, Legal & General America (LGA), Royal Neighbors of America, and more. That lets him compare options and recommend what actually fits each family's needs and budget.
